Building a Shaker Style Fireplace Mantel
Some of the classiest Fireplace Mantels. Are the simple ones.
Here is a simple looking mantel. But still requires some planning. I liked creating the radius for the header. The blocks for the legs require some measuring to get the right spacing your wanting to achieve. I picked a cove crown molding for under the shelf. The shelf was made from red oak and stained espresso. I wish I would have went with a thicker width.
